Ingredients
- This recipe is based on one appearing in Bread Machine. Both 1-pound and 1 1/2-pound versions are given.
- 1-pound cheese loaf
- 7/8 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2/3 cup grated extra-sharp Cheddar cheese
- 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/3 teaspoon tabasco sauce (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Place ingredients in pan in order given for your particular bread machine. We recommend the light crust setting; bread may become quite dark brown on the sides, but light crust setting will prevent it from burning.
