Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. beef stew meat (cut into bite size pieces)
  • 1 1/2 lbs. pork loin roast (cut into bite size pieces)
  • 2 cups chopped onion
  • 2 cups chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 3 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste

Preparation

Step 1

In slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Cook one hour on high. Reduce heat to low and cook for 7 to 9 hours until meat is tender. Shred meat and serve on buns, with or without coleslaw.
