CHERRY CHA CHA
A dessert that requires second helpings. The red cherry filling sandwiched between marshmallow cream and topped with rich crumbs makes it colorful.

Ingredients
- CRUST
- 1/2 cup butter/margarine
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- FILLING
- 2 cups whipping cream (or 2 env. topping)
- 4 cups tiny white marshmallows
- 19 oz. cherry pie filling

Preparation
Step 1
CRUST
Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Stir in crumbs and sugar. Reserve 1/3 for topping. Press remaining crumbs in ungreased 9x13 inch pan. Bake in 350 oven for 10 minutes. Cool. This works well without baking too.
Filling: Whip cream until stiff. Fold in marshmallows. Spread 1/2 of this over crumb base.
Spoon cherry pie filling, a small amount at a time, over top, smoothing as well as you can. Spread second 1/2 cream mixture over pie filling. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over all. Chill for several hours before using.
