Ingredients
- 1 cup fat free milk
- 2/3 cup unbleached or all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 3/4 tsp dried basil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 2 egg whites
- 3 TBSP freshly grated parmesan cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Place oven rack on the next to lowest shelf of the oven. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Coat 6 popover cups, deep muffin cups, or custard cups with nonstick spray.
IN medium bowl stir together milk, both types flour, oil, basil, and solt. Vigorously whisk in egg and egg whites.
Spoon batter into cups, sprinkle the cheese ovfer the batter. Bake 15 min. Reduce oven temp to 350. Do not open the oven door. Bake for 15 to 20 min longer until deep golden brown and puffed up.
