Ingredients

  • 1 box super moist chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup margarine, softened
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix about half of the dry cake mix, margarine, brown sugar, water and eggs in a bowl until smooth.

Stir in the rest of the cake mix and nuts.

Spread evenly in an greased and floured pan. (13x9).

B ake at 350° F. until top feels firm, about 25 to 30 minutes.

Do not overbake. Remove from oven. Run knife around the edges of the pan while cake is warm.

Let cool, then cut into brownies.

You may use chocolate frosting if desired.
