Ingredients
- 2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 6 slices American cheese
- 1 md. onion, finely chopped
- 2 canisters refrigerated
- 1 pkg. chili seasoning mix biscuits (can of 10)
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Brown meat and onion in a skillet, stirring often to crumble. When meat is brown and onion is transparent, drain off all grease. Add seasoning mix and tomato sauce. Mix well and let simmer for about five minutes. Meanwhile, open one canister of biscuits and press them flat into a 9 x 13 pan or baking dish. Spoon the meat mixture over the biscuit crust and top with American cheese slices. Open other canister of biscuits and flatten those, laying biscuits over the top of the cheese and meat. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
