Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 7 tbsp cocoa
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 1/4 cups hot water
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 cup margarine melted

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour, 3 tbsp cocoa, baking powder and salt. Blend in milk, butter and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour batter into square pan. In small bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar and 4 tbsp cocoa; sprinkle over batter. Pour hot water over top; Do not stir. Bake 40 minutes or until center is set. Let stand 15 minutes. Serve.
