Provençale Chicken Supper

This is a simple slow-cooker dish and lovely served with either cooked penne or mashed potato.

Ingredients
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts or 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs, chopped into pieces
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup diced yellow bell pepper
- 1 (16-ounce) can cannellini beans or other white beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can chopped tomatoes
- 1 tsp italian herbs
