Ingredients
- Topping:
- 1 9 inch piecrust thawed
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 6 medium apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter cut into pieces

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, apples, lemon juice and cinnamon. Toss until well coated. Spoon apples into piecrust. Sprinkle with topping.
Topping:
In a medium bowl, combine butter, flour and brown sugar. Using fingers, crumble the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for additional 45 minutes until
bubbly.
