  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 small box chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cups milk

Preheat oven to 350.

In a bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs, and oil until dough forms. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread dough evenly into a lightly geased 9x13 inch pan. Bake 14-16 minutes. For a chewy consistency, pull the bars out with the edges are barely starting to turn a light golden brown. With the handles of a wooden spoon, immediately poke holes at 1 inch intervals.

In a separate bowl, beat together pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes with a wire whisk. Pour half the pudding over warm bars. Let the rest of the pudding chill and set up 10 minutes. Frost the bars with the remaining pudding. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before cutting and serving.
