Soft Sugar Cookies from Grandma C

Ingredients

• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup butter (scant)
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 tsp. baking soda in
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• flour to make soft dough
• 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• 1/2 tsp. lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together all ingredients except flour. Add enough flour to make soft dough.

Spoon out small balls of dough on cookie sheet. Flatten with bottom of floured glass. Decorate with colored sugar crystals.

Bake 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees until golden brown.
