Greek Pasta Salad

Penne or bowtie pasta work equally well in this classic recipe, as do whole black olives.

Ingredients
- 3 c. cooked elbow macaroni
- 2 c. sliced mushrooms, diced
- 15 cherry tomtoes
- 1 cl yellow or red pepper, sliced
- 1/2 c. green onion, chopped
- 3/4 c. sliced black olives, drained
- 1 c. crumbled feta cheese
- Optional: 3/4 c. pepperoni, diced
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1/2 c. red wine vinegar
- 1-1/2 t. garlic powder
- 1 1/2 t. dried basil
- 1 1/2 t. dried oregano
- 3/4 t. pepper
- 3/4 t. sugar

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine macaroni, vegetables, cheese and peperoni, if using; set aside. Whisk together remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Pour over macaroni mixture and toss until evenly coated. Cover and chill 2 hours ot overnight.
