BROWNIES - FUDGY

This is a very simple and delicious recipe. These brownies are so rich and moist they remind me of fudge.

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter/margarine, melted
• 3/4 cup baking cocoa
• 2 cups sugar
• 1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
• 4 eggs
• COCOA FROSTING
• 2-1/2 cups icing sugar
• 1/3 cup milk
• 1/4 cup butter/margarine, softened
• 3 tbsps baking cocoa
• 2 tsps vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and cocoa. Mix in sugar and flour. Add eggs, mix well. Pour into a greased and floured 13x9x2 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Meanwhile, for frosting, beat together all ingredients in a mixing bowl until smooth. Cool the brownies for 15 minutes before frosting. Cool completely. Cover with foil. freeze until firm. Serve frozen or thawed.

NOTE brownies are dense and resemble fudge.
