Peach Pie filling (fresh)

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c sugar
  • 3/4 c cornstarch
  • 1/8 t salt
  • 1 small package of orange jello
  • 1/4 c lemon juice
  • sliced, fresh peaches

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together sugar, cornstarch and salt. Mix 1/2 cup of cold water into mixture and make a paste. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Pour thickening into the boiling water. Stir until thick. Add package of jello and lemon juice. Stir Let cool. Then add glace to sliced, fresh peaches and put into pie shell.

Serve with whipped cream.
