Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 med russet potato
- 2 cups chopped kale
- 1/2 # spicy sausage
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper flakes

Preparation
Step 1
-Combine stock and cream over med heat.
-Slice unpeeled potato 1/4" thick, then cut into quarters.
-Add potatoes and kale to soup.
-Grill or saute sausage.
-Cut sausage into 1/2" thick slices, add to soup.
-Add salt and pepper flakes to soup.
- Let soup simmer for about 2 hours.
