Ingredients

    T unsalted butter

  • 1

    cup all purpose flour

  • 3/4

    cup packed light brown sugar

  • 5

    T unsweetened cocoa powder, divided

  • 2

    t baking powder

  • 1/2

    t cinnamon

  • 1/8

    t salt

  • 1

    cup light cream

  • 1

    T vegetable oil

  • 1

    t vanilla

  • 3/4

    cup packed dark brown sugar

  • 1 3/4

    cup hot water

  • Whipped cream or ice cream to top it off, optional

Directions

Coat inside of 4 to 5 quart cooker with butter. Combine flour, lt brown sugar, 3 T cocoa, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in medium bowl. Add cream, oil and vanilla, stir well to combine. Pour batter into cooker. Combine dk brown sugar and 2 T cocoa in medium bowl, add hot water, stir well. Pour sauce over cake batter 'DO NOT STIR'. Cover, cook on HIGH 2 hours. Spoon into bowls, top with whipped cream or ice cream.
