Ingredients
- For the glaze:
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tsp bkg powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 1/3 cups sugar DVD
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350*.
Prepare a loaf pan.
Sift together the dry ingredients. In another bowl beat the yogurt, 1 cup sugar, eggs, zest, and vanilla. Incorporate the dry ingredients. Pour into a loaf pan and bake for about 50 minutes.
Meanwhile prepare a glaze with the lemon juice and water and cook till dissolved.
Also prepare the glaze of lemon juice and powdered sugar.
When the cake is done allow it to rest 10 minutes before pouring the sugar syrup over. Cool it completely before frostiing with powdered sugar glaze.
