Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cup flour
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp butter
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 cups icing sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt

Step 1
Into mixing bowl, measure all ingredients except 1/2 of 1 egg yolk. Beat until blended. If desired, scrape down bowl sides and chill dough. Roll dough piece between palms to 5" in length and shape into a "U". Place on greased cookie sheet about 1 1/2" apart. To reserved 1/2 egg yolk, add 1 tbsp water and mix. Neatly brush top of cookie with mixture to make cookies shiny. Bake at 350F for 10/12 minutes, then cool.
