To use frozen casserole: Thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until bubbly. Sprinkle with additional cheese, bake 5-10 minutes longer until cheese is melted. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 2 env. sloppy joe mix
  • 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • 3 1/2 c. frozen cut green beans
  • 6 c. frozen Tater tots
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese

Step 1

1. In a Dutch oven, cook beef until no longer pink; drain. Stir in water and sloppy joe mix. Bring to a b oil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 3-5 minutes or until thickened. Add tomato paste, stir unt5il blended. Add green beans.
2. Transfer to a greased 13 x 9-in. baking dish. Top with Tater Tots. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese, bake 5-10 minutes longer or until heated through and cheese is melted or before, baking, cover and freeze for up to 3 months.
