  • 1 stick softened butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons flour, heaped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Step 1

Mix together butter, sugar, flour, and salt. Add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla. Beat well. Add pecans and pour into unbaked pie shell.

Bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees then reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for additional 45 minutes.
