- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup honey
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 cup graham wafer crumbs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 2/3 cup milk

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream shortening, continue creaming while adding honey in a fine stream. Add egg one at a time, beating well. In a paper bag, shake together graham wafer crumbs, flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add alternately with milk and vanilla to creamed mixture.
Turn batter into greased, floured or lined 9" x 12" cake pan and bake for 35-40 minutes. Cool on wire rack for 5 minutes, remove from pan finish cooling on rack.
Frost with cream cheese icing.
