Ingredients
- 4 cups chicken stock of water
- 2 cups uncooked long-grain rice
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup chopped Italian parsley
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh oregano (or 1 tsp dried)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil (or 1/2 tsp dried)

Step 1
Bring the stock or water to a boil in a heavy pot. Stir in the rice, return to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover tightly and cook for 10 minutes. When rice is tender, stir in the butter, parsley, oregano and basil. Toss.
