Ingredients
- 2 lb. fresh green beans
- 5 small garlic cloves (1 each pint jar)
- 5 tea. dry dill seeds (1 tea. each pint jar)
- 2 1/2 tea. red pepper flakes (1/2 tea. each pint jar)
- 2 1/2 tea. celery seed (1/2 tea. each pint jar)
- 2 1/2 tea. mustard seed (1/2 tea. each pint jar)
- 3 cups while vineagr
- 3 cups water
- 1/4 cup pickling salt
- thin sliced onion

Step 1
In 5 sterilized jars (pint size) put 1 clove garlic, 1 tea. dill seed, 1/2 tea. red peppers, 1/2 tea. mustard seed and 1/2 tea. celery seed in each jar.
Fit beans in jar, allowing 1/2" head room at top of each jar.
Bring vinegar, water and salt to a boil. Pour over beans, filling to within 1/4"of the rim. Fasten jar tops according to manufacturer's directions and place in a boiling water bath.
Process at a hard boil for 5 minutes.
