Ice Box Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 pound butter
• 1 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 5 1/2 to 6 cups flour
• pinch of salt
• 2 teaspoon flavoring vanilla or almond

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter with sugar and salt
Add eggadd flour
Form dough in Square rolls
Roll in granulated sugar
Chill and bakeI form in square rolls and wrap in wax paper and put in 8 x 12 or 9 x 13 pan overnite.
Slice 1/4" or desired width. You can sprinkle granualted or red sugar on top before baking make lots of cookies.
