Smothered Enchiladas

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 1/4 oz mild taco seasoning
  • 4.5 oz can green chiles
  • 10 3/4 oz. can cream of chicken/cream of mushroom mix soup
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 8- 8 " tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese



Step 1

Brown ground beef in skillet and drain. Return to skillet and add taco seasoning and half of the chiles.
In a separate bowl, stir together remaining chiles, soup, and sour cream. Pour half of the mixture in a lightly greased 13 x 9 pan.
Spoon beef into tortillas and lay them seam side down in pan. Top with remaining soup mixture.
Bake uncovered at 350 for 20 minutes.
Top with cheese and cook for 5 minutes more.
