  • 1 tall can enchilada sauce
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 c chopped onion
  • 1 can diced ortega chilis
  • 1 c grated Monterey Jack cheese
  • 6 corn tortillas

Preparation

Step 1

Brown beef and onion. Heat enchilada sauce, tomato sauce and chilis in a sauce pan. Add sauce to browned beef.

Layer in a casserole dish - tortilla, meat sauce, cheese, tortilla, meat sauce, cheese. Should make two layers.

Heat in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes.
