- FROSTING:
- CAKE
- 1 package (2-layer size) chocolate cake mix (do not use pudding-in-the-mix variety)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 3 eggs
- 1-1/3 cups water
- 1 cup miracle whip salad dressing
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsps milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 5 cups sifted icing sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa

Step 1
CAKE: Grease and flour 2 (9-inch) round cake pans. Line bottoms of pans with wax paper. Stir cake mix and cocoa in large mixing bowl; add remaining ingredients. Beat with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, scraping bowl frequently. Beat with electric mixer on medium speed 2 minutes. Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake at 350 oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans, immediately remove wax paper. Cool completely on wire racks.
FROSTING:
Beat cream cheese, milk and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Mix icing sugar and cocoa. Gradually add to cream cheese mixture, beating well after each addition. Fill and frost layers. Garnish with unsweetened cocoa and chocolate twigs.
