Ingredients

  • SALAD:
  • 1 large head Nappa cabbage
  • 2 bunches scallions
  • TOPPING:
  • 2 packages ramen noodles, broken in small pieces
  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 3 tablespoons sesasme seeds
  • 1 large bag slivered almonds
  • DRESSING:
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Chop cabbage and scallions, pat dry, and put aside.

Saute broken ramen noodles and butter until slightly brown; cool. Mix in sesame seeds and almonds.

Mix all ingredients for dressing.

Just before serving, toss cabbage with topping. Add dressing and mix.
