A nice alternative to chili con carne, this recipe is very easy to make in the slow cooker.

Ingredients
- 450 g extra lean minced beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed ( or 2 cubes frozen ginger)
- 3 cm piece fresh root ginger, finely chopped (or 3 cubes frozen ginger)
- 1 tsp red chili (or 1 cube frozen red chili)
- 2 handfuls fresh chopped coriander (or 3 cubes frozen coriander)
- 425g can chopped tomatoes

Preparation
Step 1
Place all ingredients in a slow cooker and turn on L for 6-8 hours. Serve with rice, garnished with fresh coriander (if available).
