Ingredients
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups sweetened flaked coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 packages (15 count each) Athens Mini Phyllo Shells

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a heavy saucepan over medium low heat stir together the milk, honey, butter, cinnamon, and salt until combined. Cook until mixture is rich amber in color, stirring almost constantly. Meanwhile place the coconut and pecans on a large cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every few minutes. Remove the milk mixture from heat and cool slightly. Stir in the vanilla. Stir in 2 cups of the coconut mixture. Spoon filling into the fillo shells. Dip the tops into the remaining toasted coconut and pecans. Yield: 30 baklava bites.
