Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 6 milk chocolate candy bars
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Grease a 15x10x1-inch jelly roll pan.

In a medium bowl, beat together the butter and brown sugar. Add the egg yolk and vanilla. Beat until smooth.

Beat in the flour. Press the mixture evenly into the baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes.

Immediately after removing from the oven place the candy bars on the surface and allow to melt. Spread the chocolate evenly over the surface with a spatula.

Sprinkle with the chopped nuts.

Cut into bars.
