Butter icing

A simple icing for cakes & cookies.

Ingredients

• 2 sticks butter, softened
• 4 cups confectioners sugar
• 6-8 Tb milk
• 2 tsp vanilla (or use lemon extract or almond or other flavor)

Beat sugar, butter & extract on med high with a hand mixer. Add milk by spoonfuls until right consistency is reached.
