box of cornbread dressing; 1 can cream of chicken/mushroom soup; 1 whole chicken. Season chicken with ground sage, salt and pepper and garlic powder. Add 1 can of water to soup and add amount of butter (melted) according to directions on box of cornbread dressing. Mix with cornbread mix and put in slow cooker. Lay seasoned chicken on top of dressing. Cook until chicken is tender. Debone chicken. Serve hot.
The soup comes as the above, look for it at Krogers and Wallmart, it is one soup with both ingredients.
Cook until chicken is done, debone it and cook until it is bubbly warm.
