  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1 /3 cup cornstarch
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 1 /2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 1 /4 cup sugar
  • 1 /4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Preparation

Step 1

1.Heat milk to boiling, except ½ cup.
2.Combine sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, and salt; then stir in 1 /2 cup of milk.
3.Then add to hot milk stirring constantly till boiling.
4.Remove from heat, add butter and vanilla.
5.Cool and put into baked pie shell. Cool and top with cool whip.
