Ingredients
- 3 lbs. boneless chuck
- 2 T shortening
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 T vinegar
- 2 T lemon juice
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 2 cups ketchup
- 3 T worchestershire
- 2 T brown sugar
- 1 T yellow mustard (I use at least 3 T)
- 2 T chili powder
- 1 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper

Step 1
Trim meat and brown in shortening. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low.
After 2-3 hours, shred meat with fork.
