Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups icing sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 egg whites
  • 4 tbsp Rum

Preparation

Step 1

Beat egg whites until soft peak and add 4 tbsps rum. Set aside.

In a double broiler, melt butter and stir in icing sugar and mix with a whisk. Add egg yolks one at a time. Beat well.

Add the beaten egg whites to the double broiler and continue on whisking till thick and smooth in consistency.

Serve warm over christmas cake or pudding.
