Ingredients
- Handful fresh basil
- Handful Italian parsley
- Handful fresh spinach (optional)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 C water
- 1/4 C olive oil
- 3 oz. cream chese
- 1/2 Parmesan cheese
- 1 T pignoli nuts (optional)
- 1 lb. bowtie pasta
- 1 stick butter
Preparation
Step 1
1. Add into food processor: basil, parsley, spinach (if using), garlic, water, olive oil, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese and pignoli (if using). Blend until smooth and creamy.
2. Cook pasta to al dente. Drain. Toss in large bowl with butter.
3. Add basil mixture to buttered pasta and mix thoroughly.
4. Serve warm.
