Tex-Mex Cranberry Salsa

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 c sugar
- 1 12 oz. package fresh cranberries
- 2 T chopped jalapenos (from can or jar)
- 1 t dried cilantro
- 1/4 t cumin
- 1 green onion (white and green parts)
- 1 t fresh lime juice

Step 1
Combine water and sugar and bring to boil. Add berries and return to boil. Reduce heat to low and boil gently 10 minutes without stirring.
Pour into medium glass bowl and add other ingredients, stirring to blend.
Place a piece of saran wrap directly on the salsa and cool to room temperature. Refrigerate, but best if served at room temp.
