HARRIET'S BROWNIES

Ingredients

• 4 squares chocolate
• 2 sticks butter
• 1/4 teaspoon butter flavoring
• 1 1/2 cups nuts
• 1 3/4 cups sugar
• 1 cup flour
• 4 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Melt chocolate and margarine in heavy pan. Add butter flavoring and pecans. Stir to coat. Combine sugar, flour, eggs, and vanilla. Mix only until blended; DO NOT BEAT Add chocolate-nut mixture; DO NOT BEAT. Spoon batter into 18 muffin cups. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.

Note: Can be baked in mini muffin pans.
