Ingredients
- 3 eggs separated (whites set aside for meringue)
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- Juice of 3 lemons
- Grated rind of 1 lemon
- 1 baked pie crust
- 1/4 teasp cream of tartar
- 1/3 cup sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake prepared crust until golden brown.
Mix egg yolks, condensed milk, lemon juice and rind. Pour into baked pie crust.
Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until foamy. Gradually add sugar. Beat until stiff but not dry. Spread on top of pie filling sealing to edge of crust. Bake 15 mins or until meringue is golden brown. Chill before serving.
