CANDY APPLE DESSERT SQUARES

Ingredients

• 1 pkg. Brownie Mix (plus ingredients to make cake like brownies)
• 1 pkg. (8 oz) Cream Cheese, softened
• 1/2 cup Caramel Ice Cream Topping, divided
• 1 Red Apple
• 1 Granny Smith Apple
• 6 Peanut Butter Cup Candies
• 1/4 cup Peanuts, chopped (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray 9x13 pan with cooking oil. Prepare brownie mix according to package direction for cake-like brownies; pour batter into pan, spread evenly. Bake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Whisk together ¼ cup caramel and cream cheese in small bowl. Spread mixture over brownies. Cat apples into small pieces and sprinkle over cream cheese topping. Coarsely chop candy and sprinkle on top, along with chopped peanuts if desired. Drizzle remaining caramel topping on top.
