Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lbs spareribs
- 1 sliced onion
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp soya sauce
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/8 tsp cloves

Preparation
Step 1
Separate ribs. Place in kettle with onion and cover with water and boil. Simmer covered about 50 minutes. Mix sugar, cornstarch, curry powder and garlic clove in saucepan. Stir in rest. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened, boil for 3 minutes. Place ribs on tray and brush with part of sauce. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes, brushing several times with remaining sauce and turning once.
