I had a fever. I hate it when my body shuts me down. Worst of all, noone was around to baby or take care of me. :(

The next day, when I didn’t feel like death warmed over…I decided to make a huge crock of the thing I craved the most! ENJOY!!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Boneless Chicken Breast
  • 1 Red Onion, diced
  • 3 Stalks of Celery, chopped
  • 3 Carrots, chopped
  • Handful of Chopped Parsley
  • 1 T Fresh Ginger, shredded
  • Zest of whole Lemon
  • Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes
  • Pinch of Oregano
  • Squeeze of 1/2 Lime
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 32 oz Chicken Broth, Organic
  • 32 oz Water
  • Lemongrass would have been wonderful, but I didn't have it on hand. Next time, when I plan on this... I'll use lemongrass, skip the parsley and add cilantro.

Step 1

Place all the ingredients in the Crock, and cook on low. Mine was ready in 5 hours.
