Broccoli Pesto

Ingredients
- 3 c. cut-up broccoli florets and stems
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 c. slivered almonds or pine nuts
- 1/4 c. chopped fresh basil or 4 tsp. dried basil
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation
Step 1
1. Cook broccoli in boiling water x 4-5 minutes or until tender; drain and cool.
2. In food processor or blender, puree broccoli, garlic, olive oil, almonds and basil until coarsely chopped. Add cheese, process until well mixed.
