- 2 sticks margarine or butter
- 2 cups sugar
- Add one at a time. . .
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 teasp vanilla
- Sift together. . .
- 4 cups flour
- 3 teasp baking powder
- 3/4 teasp salt
- 1/2 teasp nutmeg

Step 1
Add this to mixture. Chill until firm (few minutes in freezer or more time in refrigerator. Knead before rolling on floured surface.
Roll to desired thickness and cut with your favorite cookie cutters. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees about 12 minutes, until lightly browned around edges.
