Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds hamburger
- 1 clove garlic
- 4 carrots
- 2 potatoes
- 1 onion
- 2 1/2 pound canned tomatoes- 3 1/2 cups
- 4 celery tops
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 teaspoon each thyme, basil and pepper
- 3 beef bouillon cubes
- 3 cups water

Preparation
Step 1
1. In a soup pot, brown hamburger; drain
2. Add onion and cook until translucent
3. Wash, peel (if desired) and cube potatoes and carrots
4. Add all ingredients to pot
5. Bring to a boil
6. Simmer 1 hour
7. Remove bay leaf before serving
