Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup cider or white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh spring herbs: chervil, chives, parsley

Preparation

Step 1

Combine 1 cup buttermilk, 1/4 cup cider or white vinegar, 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil, salt and black pepper and 2 tablespoons chopped fresh spring herbs (chervil, chives, parsley) in a bowl.

Whisk to incorporate. Store in a pint canning jar and refrigerate.
