  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • additional confectioners sugar

Step 1

chop pecans fine. place softened butter in bowl,add sugar and vanilla and beat until very soft. add flour and pecans and blend thoroughly in to a dough.

roll 18 small ballls and place on cookie sheet. bake in 325 degree oven for about 20 minutes, then dust with additional confectioners sugar while still hot. (you may wish to dust them with even more sugar before serving)
