Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cube butter or margarine
- 1 pint whipping cream or 2 cups canned milk
- 1/2 c plus 1/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup white corn syrup
- 1 cup broken nuts if desired

Preparation
Step 1
Butter an 11 x 7 pan. Cover bottom of pan with nuts if desired.
Combine ingredients (except nuts) in large, heavy pot (4 quart)
Cook on medium heat to rolling boil stirring constantly until soft
ball stage. Pour into buttered pan. Cool til set.
Cook about 25 minutes to soft ball
about 45 minutes for double batch
For dipping pretzels cool for about 20 minutes them dip and
place on a buttered cookie sheet. They stick to wax paper.
