Ingredients

    cup butter

  • 1

    cup chopped onion

    pound lean ground beef

  • 1-teaspoon sugar

  • 1-teaspoon ground cloves

  • 1/2 -1-teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1-teaspoon chili powder

  • 1-teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1-teaspoon dry mustard

  • 1-teaspoon paprika

  • 1-teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1-teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1-teaspoon salt

  • 1-teaspoon ground pepper

Directions

1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat; add the onions sauté onion until soft but not brown. 2. Add in ground beef and spices; mix well; add enough water just to cover mixture. 3. Simmer mixture over low heat, simmering occasionally until meat is cooked and sauce is thickened, about 30 minutes.
